Welcome to Bear Mountain Beef! We are so excited you chose us to be your beef processor! We are an all-USDA-inspected facility specializing in quality processing!

Meet the owners-

Michael (Mac) and Celsie Sussex ranch and have an insurance business in Southeastern Wyoming. They have two beautiful children Aria & Ryker.

Both Mac & Celsie have been involved in farming and ranching their entire lives. They are experienced in all aspects of beef production from the cow/calf stage through feeding and into the meat. Marketing and selling beef in halves, wholes, and quarters have been a part of their operation for about 5 years now but 2020 presented new challenges in finding and managing processing appointments. This struggle forced them to start looking into other options and Bear Mountain Beef (BMB) was born. Their belief is that quality affordable beef should be available to everyone. They have been blessed with 2 beautiful children Aria who is nine and Ryker who is five. Family is number one for the Sussex’s and every aspect of their operation involves family. Mac and Celsie are boots on the ground, providing cattle feeding and beef sales in Wyoming.

Roger and Vicki Uthmann have been involved in livestock production all their lives including the 50 years of their married lives.  Livestock production experience includes cow/calf (lifetime); dairy/feedlot (20 years), and feedlot (5 years).  The ranch where they live is located at Virginia Dale, Colorado, and is utilized for cow/calf production.  It has been in Vicki’s family for 117 years and five generations. 

 Mountain View Feeders, Inc. (MVF) was formed in 2015 with Chad & Nicole and 2 sons Tyler and Jace.  MVF is currently permitted by the state of Colorado for 3500 head of cattle.  Their expertise has included the growth and development of dairy heifers, and beef bulls, as well as the growth and fattening of cattle for harvesting and processing. The Uthmann Family is the boots on the ground, providing cattle feeding and beef sales in Colorado.
